Achieving Optimal Nurse Staffing Levels in EDs

On-Demand Webinar

Learn more about maintaining optimal staffing levels, fine-tuning performance, meeting quality improvement goals and monitoring overall productivity. With patient volume fluctuating greatly day-to-day or even hour-to-hour, Emergency Departments struggle to maintain the optimal nurse staffing levels needed to address HPPV goals while also ensuring the best possible patient care and the well-being of their nursing staff. With seven emergency departments, WakeMed Health & Hospitals has implemented a number of best practices to address those challenges.  For years, ShiftWizard’s workforce management solutions have helped hospitals address staffing and productivity challenges.

Learn how to:

  • Use real-time HPPV measures and advanced predictive analytics to react and proactively plan for variations in patient volume
  • Easily account for individual work preferences, staffing requirements, skill requirements, real- time productivity metrics, and time-off needs
  • Employ communication tools including email, text, and voice messaging to quickly find staff to fill open positions
  • Provide hospital administrators with a more complete view of overall staffing productivity to demonstrate success and/or hiring needs

Who will benefit from this webinar?

  • CNOs
  • Nursing Managers
  • ED Administrators
