Describe why you chose to become a nurse
I chose to become a nurse because I wanted to help others just like many great nurses have helped my family and myself.
Describe your most rewarding day on the job
When my elderly patient who found out she had cancer told me I was going to impact so many lives in a positive way.

Any shift during Covid-19.
Do you have any nurse hacks or lessons learned in the field you would like to share with others?
If you didn’t chart it, it didn’t happen. Document like the chart is going to be reviewed.

Kasey’s Nomination
Kasey Coble is a nurse with almost two years of experience. She has demonstrated a deep passion for learning and caring for all types of patients and does a fantastic job caring for critically ill patients in the ED. She has recently taken on the responsibility of learning the Charge Nurse role in our department and is doing very well with this new responsibility. She is a hard worker and engages in feedback and learning opportunities. She seeks guidance as needed and is open to thinking outside of the box. It has been amazing to watch her grow over the last two years!
